  • 105 grams all purpose flour
  • 90 grams parmesan cheese
  • 85 grams unsalted butter
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon nigella seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

  • Form and then roll it into a long sausage shape, then wrap in cling film and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 165 C / 325 F
  • Take the dough out of the fridge and brush it with an egg wash before rolling it in the sesame and nigella seeds to form a crust.
  • Slice the dough into thin disks 0.5cm thick and place on a greased baking tray.
  • Bake the spicy biscuits in the oven for 10-15 minutes until they have risen slight and are golden brown in colour.
  • Remove them from the oven and leave them to harden up for 10 minutes before serving them still warm.
