Soups
Warm, comforting soups for Fall or winter, and cool refreshing chilled soups for summer. Soup can be like a hug in a bowl, full of flavor and nutrition and always using fresh, seasonal ingredients. They work as both an appetizer and an entree for dinner parties, especially if you want to serve a lighter option.
I love cabbage soup with smoked sausage on a cold winter's day or creamy smoked haddock and sweetcorn soup topped with crispy bacon.
In the heat of summer, you'll rarely find me serving anything to guests other than a cool bowl of classic gazpacho or chilled cucumber gazpacho when I want something even more cooling and refreshing.
